Could complacency be our greatest enemy? It’s not that we don’t love others, but we get stuck in the rut of life. Below are ten ideas to get you started on showing the world the love of Jesus Christ:
- Pray for someone you know. Then let them know you prayed for them. Better yet, write the prayer in an email or text.
- Give a small love offering to someone in need.
- Fix dinner for a shut-in.
- Offer a ride to chemo treatments for a cancer patient.
- Pay it forward at a restaurant or grocery store.
- Ask someone who can’t get out if you can pick up something for them at the store.
- Invite a neighbor’s kids to church and pick them up.
- Take a friend to lunch.
- Depending on where you live, shoveling snow on your neighbor’s sidewalk.
- Take time to call someone you haven’t talked to in a long time.
