Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Ephesians 6:10 NKJV

Have you ever wondered how you will make it? Not necessarily financially, but with life in general.

You have been hurt. You may be someone’s victim. What do you do when you feel you have been broken into a million pieces? You go to Jesus! You cast your cares on the one who cares for you (1 Pet. 5:7).

Elohei-Ma’uzzi is the Hebrew name for God which means “The God of My Strength”. He is our source for strength. We may feel weak, but His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses (2 Cor. 12:9).

My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Whatever you have to do, He will give you the strength to do it. Maybe you have a rehabilitation period, and your body is healing physically. The pain is excruciating. You will make it through God’s strength. Perhaps you need to heal emotionally. His strength is there for you also. Whatever mountain stands in front of you, He will traverse it with you. No matter how high you must climb. No matter how steep the incline, He gets you to the top.

Another attribute of God is His power. It is limitless and matchless. Do you realize nothing can come into your life that God can’t handle? That includes Satan. He will attack, but God will only allow him to go so far. God allowed Satan to attack Job, except he could not take his life. Satan made a train wreck out of Job’s life, but in the end, God richly blessed Job (Job 1:12, 2:6).

No matter what you face today, you will make it by the strength and power of the Lord. Trust Him! Lean on Him! Give Him the glory for what He will do. Nothing can conquer God’s power.

Lord, You know all about me. You know how hard it is for me to find peace in this situation. The grief continues. The fear persists. Today, I need Your strength and power to get me through. Thank You. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

HIKING THE TRAIL

Do you trust in your own strength or God’s? Continually pray seeking His strength and power. Praise Him for what He will do and Praise Him when the battle is over.
