About Carolyn

Christian speaker, award-winning and best-selling author, Carolyn Dale Newell knows the bitter taste of suffering. From blindness to chronic pain she seeks to overcome, despite discouragement and even depression. Her passion is to encourage women to keep their eyes on Jesus and not their circumstances.

Carolyn has authored seven books including her Guide Dog Tales devotional series and her devotional journal with Redemption Press, Faith That Walks on Water: Conquering Emotional Bondage with the Armor of God. She has also contributed to several compilations.

Carolyn loves digging deep into Scripture, and discovering truths to share with her audience. She has earned a certificate in Biblical and Theological Foundations. She is a contributor for iBelieve.com.

She teaches Bible study and leads a small group at her home church. Carolyn is a member of the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association, and a certified AWSA POWER speaker. She has also earned speaker certifications through Activate with Mary R. Snyder, and SpeakUp with Carol Kent.

Carolyn resides in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia with her husband, Tim. She loves reading, pizza, and going for walks with Yola and Iva, her guide dogs.
